Monica Akunna ODODO is coming on the Board of RighCare Foundation International Inc., with variety of skills and experience acquired over time in her journey of life. Monica cultivates and earns the confidence of others easily and primes herself as the proprietress of one of the best private schools in Nigeria- “The Treasure Island Nursery & Primary School”, Ibeju Lekki Lagos from where she is helping to mold destinies and creating opportunities to give future leaders an unforgettable head start. Monica has so much passion to help transform the children and indigent society of young men and women by giving them her best that gave birth to this institution where every child is treated as a special treasure.
In her professional exposure, Monica started her career as a Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive of Euro Trade Nigeria Limited, a big player in the maritime industry between 1994 and 1997. To give her children time and space in her life, she decided to venture into private business, forming the Geonmaic Fashion Design and Sewing institute, Lagos Nigeria. She later ventured into Food and beverages industry with the establishment of The Place Chicken & Fast Food Restaurant, a business she operated for about ten years. Monica is very creative and pragmatic. She is highly conservative in many sustainable and acceptable values in life, which she instils in people while trending in changes that matter also to life. A trained Accountant, Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria. She also holds two professional Diplomas in Secretarial Administration, Catering & Hotel Management as well as a Postgraduate degree in Education, from St. Augustine College of Education Akoka Lagos. Monica is a graduate of the School of Disciples (SOD) of the Redeemers Ministries and presently the Children’s Pastor in the Covenant of Life Parish Bogije Ibeju-Lekki Lagos branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Monica Ododo is a member of Affordable Education Development, (AFED), an association of recognized private school proprietors in Nigeria. She is happily married to a Minister of God and a Chartered Accountant, and together they are blessed with two children and many others she fosters. Her interests include Reading, Cooking, Counselling and meeting people. |
