Dr. Charles’s career goal and vision in life has centered around service and helping the less privileged members in our communities. A Nigerian born US citizen, Charles was a high school teacher and later became the Founder/CEO of Pyramid-Gate Ventures, Ltd, a conglomerate of Industrial cleaning, Raw Food & Beverages, located in Lagos Nigeria from 1994-1999.
Dr. Charles worked with a non-profit Health and Human services organization, Vinfen Corporation in Boston Massachusetts. In his position as the program director, he oversaw day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives of programs for individuals with special needs. He later joined Massachusetts State Department of Developmental Services in the Greater Boston Area Office in 2015 to date. Charles has been involved in charitable projects for the less privileged in his community. He and wife initiated and funded Free Scholarship Foundation from 1996-2001. About 95 High School students benefitted from this project. Charles and wife also initiated and funded Adindu Memorial Interest Free loan scheme for widows in Uvuru community, Mbaise Nigeria. About 50 widows benefited from this scheme. Charles and wife donated free medical equipment and supplies to Uvuru Medical Health Center in 2016. Charles serves as the Deputy Board Chair at Mbaise USA, a non-profit 22 chapter based 501c organization for Mbaise people in the United States. Prior to this, Charles had volunteered in Mbaise USA Medical mission logistics team. Has also served as Chair of Mbaise USA National Convention planning committee. Dr. Charles is a recipient of several awards among which are: outstanding service awards – Vinfen Best Employee Award in 2005; Vinfen most valued Employee Award in 2013; and an outstanding Service Award at Mbaise USA 2018 Medical Mission. Charles is a member of United States Association for Healthcare Risk Managers. Charles holds a Doctoral degree in Health Administration, from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He became a Co-founder and Vice President of RightCare Foundation International, Inc. in October 2019. He is happily married with four children, and lives in Boston Massachusetts, U.S.A. |
