Hon Chief Mrs. Patricia Echa Eke (Nee Ikpa) holds a bachelor’s degree in English Foundations, Masters in Language Education and currently waiting to defend her PhD dissertation in Language Education. She was a teacher by profession, thought in my primary and high schools from 1976 and retired as a school principal in 2011.
Hon Chief Mrs. Pat. E. Eke, has won so many awards from different organizations: Honorary award by Junior Chamber International Worldwide Federation of Young Active Citizens. Eminent Peace Ambassador Award, by International Association of World Peace Advocates, United Nations Peace Volunteers-Chartered Fellowship Award. Award of Recognition: Outstanding support and service award towards Mbaise USA Annual Medical Missions. Centenary Award (Ambassador of Mary) by National Council of Catholic Women Organization (NCCWO) Nigeria. C.W.O PILLAR award by Immaculate Conception Parish Okwu Nguru. Ahiara Diocese Ideal Mother Award by the Diocesan Catholic Women Organization- Ahiara Diocese. COORDINATOR AND DIRECTOR OF SOME NGO’S Coordinator, Mbaise Medical Mission INC. USA Coordinator and one of the directors of STEWARD OF HOPE Foundation USA Coordinator and one of the directors of Tonykem Foundation- London England Director General of Imo Foundation, whose core mandate is to take care of the poor in the society of Imo State and beyond . COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION: Chief (Mrs) Patricia Echa Eke is extremely useful in her community. She held the position of a Finance Committee. She was the Treasurer of the Village Development Union called Okwu Assembly. As the Director General, Imo Foundation, Mrs. Eke, helped so many villagers in healthcare and financial empowerment. Due to her selfless efforts in the community, HRH, Eze Leo Nwokeocha conferred her with a Chieftaincy title. Patricia is a humble, kindhearted, and sincere mother. She is peace loving, well-travelled, seasoned, and enlightened. She is versatile, intelligent, and endowed with God’s wisdom. Above all, she is God fearing. Mrs. Pat. E.
